If you already have a CRM and want something better the following is a list of great contact databases:

This list is from “better to best” based on features and pricing:

  1. Thewiseagent. One of the best and most affordable contact databases I have ever found, I could spend 2 days telling you all the benefits of this database system but is just so many things they are not going to fit in this blog you can find a list of all features here my advice, sign up for free (30-day trial), take all the pieces of training they offer, and maybe you too will fall in love with it. Investment: $25.00 per month.
  2. Big Purple Dot. Manage Clients, Share leads with your partners, assistants, and loan professionals. Lead sharing allows multiple users to write notes, set reminders and milestones, send property updates, and securely upload documents. Lead Aggregation: Automatically funnel leads from sites like Zillow®, Trulia®, and Realtor.com®. You can also use a unique phone tracking number so calls can populate your CRM and optionally record your conversation. Analytics reporting tools allow you to visually sift through your leads and easily determine which marketing campaigns are working, and those that are not. Investment: starts at $40.00 per month.
  3. Lion’s Desk: It offers Video Email & Video Texting (most CRM’s do not), Texting capabilities from within the CRM, contact Management, Property Management, Lead Distribution (for teams), 3rd Party Lead Imports (for example Zillow, Realtor.com), Calendar/Task Management, Power Dialer (additional cost), and Auto Responders for emails, texts, and calls to every one of the leads and to track your conversions. Investment: Starts at $25,00 plus add-ons (texting, power dialer are separate)
  4. CLOZE: Is a follow-up application, you can use on your phone, tablet, computer, etc. They take the information from ALL your sources (phone conversations, text messages, emails, social media, etc.) and based on the interactions with people it gives you recommendations on who to follow up with, etc. Is a fantastic follow-up tool, if you are willing to do the work, it does not have email/SMS drip campaigns, the goal is for YOU to pick up the phone and talk to people or write them emails, etc. This is comparable to the Brian Buffini’s system but on steroids. Download the APP free for 14 days in your app store. Investment: $13.33 per month and 20% on annual cost. If you decide to use this CRM contact me for set up information.
  5. Top Producer. Top producer is one of the oldest and most robust CRM systems. With too many things to mention, go to the Website for more information. The only problem is that it is the most expensive of all the CRM Systems. Investment: $80 to $199.00 per month depending on the systems you choose.
  6. Ixact. Is an integrated CRM, Email Marketing, and Website solution designed specifically for real estate agents. It provides you with all the tools you need to manage your keep in touch communications, your listings and active buyers, and your online presence with a single, easy to use platform at a single low price. They have automated much of the work that’s usually required for effective real estate contact management and marketing. A “set it and forget it” capabilities. Offers fewer features than top producer but the overall cost is lower. Investment: $39.99 to $69.99 depending on the systems you choose.
  7. Brian Buffinis CRM: If you have a large sphere of influence and past clients and are actively working with Brian Buffini’s System, this CRM fully integrates the “Work By Referral system” it gives you a visual action plan for all your referral-making activities, simple, easy to set up, prioritize your clients and daily activities, help you reach your goals and keeps you on track. Investment: $50.00 per month.
  8. RealGeeks. The reason I left this one for last it’s because even though this is the BEST and MOST complete CRM system, is the most expensive one, more meant to the super-committed agent. Some of the tools Real Geeks offers are IDX Real Estate Websites, Lead Manager CRM, Facebook Marketing Tool, Property Valuation Tool, SMS autoresponders, Real Leads, Market Reports, Automated Email Drip System, Autodialer and more. Investment $169.00 to $239.00 per month per user.

What’s the strong suits of each of the top databases (their value proposition):

All of these platforms are easy to use and have the ability to organize your contacts, send emails, set up campaigns, appointments, tasks, etc. Obviously, that’s what they do. But below is in a simple manner what makes each one different from each other:

  1. Thewiseagent: their ability to sync with other platforms and/or phones (wiseagent syncs flawlessly with Iphones, Androids, Gmail, SMS, Autodialers, BombBomb, Cloud CMA, Constant Contact, etc. and many others. For a list of all features click here The Bad: the interface is not easy to use.
  2. Big Purple Dot: The ability they have to track inbound calls and text messages, also a Free Dialer/SMS system. The Bad: The set up is very complex and requires a lot of time.
  3. Lion’s Desk: The one feature I like the most about Lion’s Desk is the ability to Send SMS from within the CRM plus the Video Texting. Although these features cost more money it is money well spent rather than having 3 or 4 separate systems (like texting apps, video apps, etc) Integrating these into the CRM is Great!! The Bad. The set up is very complex and it requires a lot of time and effort.
  4. CLOZE: The amazing analytics they have to track your interactions with people (via phone, SMS, emails, etc.) and give you suggestions on whom to follow up next based on those interactions and this is the easiest CRM to use once you get to know it. The Bad: Not set up for Real Estate, but since I use this CRM I customized it for real estate if you chose this one contact me for more information.
  5. Top Producer: The ability they have to keep you in touch with your clients. Including via social media, also produce market reports for clients automatically. The Bad: Is the second most expensive system.
  6. Ixact. The ready-made email drip campaigns and auto monthly newsletters. The Bad: the interface is not easy to use.
  7. Brian Buffinis CRM: For the tasks, you need to follow the Brian Buffini System which includes, Pop By’s, Gift Delivery, etc. Some agents may not be interested in doing those activities.
  8. RealGeeks. a complete package, everything from lead generation, lead follow up, conversion, tracking, analytics, etc. is the most complete system, but then again, the most expensive one.
